PDF (Paper) menus for business continuity
In rare situations, for example if there is an internet/Wi-Fi or system outage, you may not be able to access Embrayse. In order to ensure smooth kitchen operations, Embrayse provides you with PDF copies of resident orders which you can download and print on paper even if the Embrayse app is not accessible. It is important that you bookmark the link to these PDF forms so that you can access them later. In the case of an internet or Wi-Fi outage you can access these using a phone with a 4G connection, and print them as needed.
The link to the order backup PDFs can be found under Settings > Business Continuity.
Important: bookmark the backups link so that you can access the PDFs even when the Embrayse is not accessible.
In the backup folder you will see two types of files:
- Blank.pdf: This file contains resident names, room numbers, and basic requirements such as texture modifications. It does not contain any orders so you can download the file or even print a copy in advance. It can be used for collection of orders.
- Lunch.pdf, Dinner.pdf, etc: In addition to resident and room information, these files include any orders you have already collected from residents for today. They are refreshed daily and whenever you make any changes to today's orders. There is also a summary of all the orders, to assist with preparations in the kitchen.
