Away Status

Away Status

Mark a resident as away when they are temporarily not at the facility — for example, during a hospital stay or family visit.

Setting Away Status

  1. Go to the Orders page.
  2. Select the resident's name to open their profile.
  3. Check the Away checkbox to mark them as away, or uncheck it when they return.

The change saves immediately. When away, an Away banner is shown at the top of the resident's order page, and an Away badge is shown next to the resident's name in the Orders list and in the Prep Report.

Notes

  • Away status cannot be set if the resident is archived.
  • If Away Status is controlled by your clinical system integration, the checkbox will be locked and the status will sync automatically.
