The Resident Report lists all residents with their dietary profile information in a single table. Use it to review dietary needs across the facility, or to filter residents by specific requirements.
To open the Residents Report, select Insights from the main menu, then select the Residents tab.
The Resident Table
The report displays one row per resident. The table scrolls horizontally to show all columns:
| Column | Description |
|---|
| Site | The facility the resident belongs to |
| Wing | The wing or area where the resident lives |
| Room | The resident's room number |
| Name | The resident's full name |
| Date of Birth | The resident's date of birth |
| Food Texture | The required IDDSI food texture level, shown as a colour-coded badge |
| Drink Thickness | The required IDDSI drink thickness level, shown as a colour-coded badge |
| Allergies | Any recorded food allergies |
| Intolerances | Any recorded food intolerances |
| Medical Conditions | Relevant medical conditions affecting dietary needs |
| Diets | Dietary requirements (e.g. Vegetarian, Gluten-free, Halal) |
| Special Utensils | Any special eating aids required |
| Serving Size | Preferred portion size (Small, Medium, or Large) |
| Tags | Custom labels set by your facility |
| Notes | Freeform dietary notes and preferences |
Note: Selecting a row highlights it and dims the others. To clear the selection, select the same row again.
Filtering by Facility
For users with access to multiple facilities, the facility selector in the top-left of the report will show them. By default, all facilities are included in the report. To narrow the report to one or more facilities, open the selector and choose from the list.
Filtering by Dietary Fields
The Filters pane on the right side of the report lets you filter the table by any resident dietary field – for example, to find all residents requiring a particular food texture, or all residents with a specific allergy.
The Filters pane is always visible on the right side of the report, but the filter options only appear after you interact with the report. Select the scroll bar at the bottom of the table, or select a row (select it again to deselect). The filter options will then appear in the pane.
The following filters are available:
- Name
- Wing
- Room
- Food Texture
- Drink Thickness
- Intolerances
- Allergies
- Medical Conditions
- Diets
- Special Utensils
- Serving Size
- Tags
Select any filter to expand it and choose the values you want to show.
Exporting to Excel
You can export the resident data to an Excel file for use in other tools or for offline reference.
- Select the ⋯ (More options) menu in the top-right corner of the report.
- Select Export data.
- Leave the default settings (Data with current layout, .xlsx) and select Export.
The file downloads to your device. Any filters you have applied are reflected in the exported data.
